What'd you eat for dinner last night? Just got back from touring through California, so I went straight to my parents' house and had some good ol' home cooking from my Mom. Chicken soup with vegetables, brown rice and garlic black beans.

Favorite food: Authentic Southern Mexican Food! However, I love all types.

Least favorite food: Fast food. Seriously, you don't want to know what's in that stuff.

Favorite dessert: Cheesecake, baby!

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: There are so many I love. However, I recently went to The Cornish Pasty Co. in Tempe and that place deserves some serious praise. Fun, hip, cheap and delicious!

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: Casey Moore's in Tempe will always be our stomping ground. Margarita from Chuck or Steve, and you can't go wrong. I like to switch up the 100 percent agave tequilas.

Favorite thing to cook at home: Thai coconut curry with jasmine rice and fresh herbs from our garden.

Favorite memory involving food: Chilling at our beach house in Cholla Bay in Rocky Point! We went spear fishing and caught some killer fish, found 60 clams and 40 mussels. We cooked it all up oceanside. We made ceviche, steamed clams and fried mussels while drinking Mexican beers and tequila and lime. It was incredible! There is nothing like catching your own keep!

Recipe or food tip to share:
For me, it's all about fresh, organic ingredients. Support your local organic produce markets! I ride my bike to a home down the street where a couple has an amazing micro-farm right in their front yard. They specialize in organic herbs, vegetables, fruits, etc. You can check it out at www.localharvest.org/farmyard-M34101.
