And if, like Mr. Burgundy, you're a fan of the stuff, then you might just be thrilled to know that Cafe ZuZu at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale will be having a scotch-filled chef's table event on May 20.

The evening will start with a reception featuring plump, scotch-scented oysters on the half shell. Afterward guests will enjoy a four-course dinner paired with a selection of scotch whiskeys.

The Menu

House Smoked Salmon with American Caviar miso potato cake + lemon chive cream Talisker 10 year

Wild Mushroom Tortellini asparagus + carrots with orange and ginger Glenkinchie 12 year

Braised Monk Fish & Lobster Stew spring vegetables + pistou Oban

Pineapple Cobbler vanilla ice cream Dalwhinnie 15 year

And if you're not already a scotch aficionado, you're in luck. They'll also have scotch expert and Scottish expat Robert Anderson on hand to educate drinkers and diners.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and costs $56 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 480-421-7997.
