Tomorrow, join Carefree Station and Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Company from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for a scotch tasting and seminar. Learn about the scotch making process while sipping on generous samples of single malt scotch including Bunnahanhain Sherry Cask 28 year. The tasting is $25 per person and seating is limited. The 136th Kentucky Derby is coming up this weekend and you can celebrate with derby-inspired appetizers and Prohibition-Era cocktails at BLT Steak.

The party starts May 1st at 1 p.m. and goes till 5; the $36 price tag includes appetizers and one Kentucky Mint Julep served in an official souvenir glass. We came across this amazing idea and had a serious "I can't believe we didn't think of this first" moment. Michele Humes describes the tasting menu at Chicago restaurant Alinea's by using Jelly Belly brand jelly beans. We're impressed. Now to hunt for baby wipes flavored jelly beans.
