Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Sonoran Cooking Class
Sign up for Pinon Grill at Millennium Resort Scottsdale for this Saturday's Sonoran Fall Menu Cooking Class. Executive Chef Gary Mlinarich will teach you how to make a three-course sonoran meal and you get to eat it.  The first course is borracho shrimp followed by portabella mushroom salad and finished with adobo turkey. All courses will also be paired with wine. $30++ per person. Call 480-367-2422 to RSVP.

Pumpkin Pie Tarts
Baking not your thing? Just too busy this year? That doesn't mean you have to miss out on a little home made fall goodness. Atlanta based AtomicLuLu is selling her little Harvest Pumpkin Tarts by the bakers dozen on Etsy. Using her very own Grandmother's pumpkin pie recipe, she bakes them up and ships them out fresh to you. Click here to get your own.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
