There are a few great mixologists in the Valley, and most cocktail connoisseurs would say Travis Nass is, hands down, one of them. He and his handlebar mustache have been creating quite a name for the Last Drop Bar at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn as a place to get unique drinks.

We're always happy to make the trek over to the resort for a drink, and now we've got the chance to learn a few mixology tips we can use at home.

Beginning May 19, you can catch a summer mixology class with Nass at the luxury resort. The classes will be held the second Sunday of every month from 2 to 4 p.m., and each will feature an introduction into the art of mixology with a different liquor. The crash-course class will include history lessons, notes on style and flavor, and two cocktails per person.

You'll also get take home recipes and lots of one-on-one interaction because the classes will be capped at 10 people.

Here's the schedule:

Sunday, May 19 - Vodka Sunday, June 16 - Gin Sunday, July 21 - Rum

Each classes costs $30 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 602-955-7878.
