Beer Party!
Yes, yes, yes the Food Truck Festival is happening tomorrow but there is also another event going on that we feel might have been overlooked in the midst of all the FTF excitement.  The 2nd Annual Peoria Beer Festival is happening tomorrow night from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Peoria Sports Complex. Over 50 of your favorite breweries are going to be there with barrels and/or bottles of their best brews. Sample unique and well knows beers from SKA, Eel River, Oskar Blues, Port (too bad they aren't bringing their pizza!) and all of your favorite locals. This year, every ticket is a V.I.P. ticket and includes food samples from local restaurants, wine & spirit tastings, and live entertainment. Purchase you tickets today for $45 or wait till you hit the gate and pay $55. This event is 21+ and tickets are limited. Get yours here.

More S'Mores

So everything has been turned into a S'More at this point but we came across these Peanut Butter S'Mores Turnovers and couldn't help ourselves. All the chocolate and graham cracker goodness wrapped up with peanut butter in a puff pastry shell and then drizzled with marshmallow frosting. Sign us up!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
