Three Things to Eat, Drink, and Make this Weekend -- The Super Bowl Edition

It's Super Bowl weekend! I"m sure that most of you could care less but I have a not-so-secret love of football and the Super Bowl is one of my favorite excuses to go on a massive calorie binge of wings, chips, pizza, beer, and cupcakes. I wish it was Sunday right now! 

Eat This: El Heffe Wings from Teakwoods -- I have yet to have a bad wing at Teakwoods but the El Heffes are hands-down my favorite thing on the menu. Juicy chicken wings tossed in mild sauce then grilled with garlic and cilantro and finished off with just a touch of Teakwoods' scorching suicide sauce. I could eat them every day. Snag a a couple dozen to go or get there early and grab a seat for the big game. 
Drink This: Epic Brewing's Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout -- A little birdy told me that Tops Liquor in Tempe just a got a couple cases of Epic's fourth batch of Big Bad Baptist. I'm normally an IPA kinda girl but Epic's latest experimental brew has made my personal list of best beers ever. This beer is a favorite among the Tops Liquor staff so if you want a bottle I suggest you grab one quick! 

Make This: Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers -- I know bacon is totally "over" but that isn't going to stop me from whipping up a batch of classic bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. These should be the official Super Bowl food mascot. Quick tip -- Put the "light cream cheese down and use the real stuff! They're poppers, they're not suppose to be "healthy".
