Urban Cookies' Brady Breese: Caramelpalooza Candymakers

From now through Caramelpalooza -- March 2 at Smeeks candy shop -- Chow Bella will introduce you to the 17 chefs participating in the third annual caramel tasting. Today, meet Brady Breese of Urban Cookies.

A self-taught baker, Brady Breese started Urban Cookies several years ago with his wife, Shaun, who handles the marketing while Brady creates recipes and oversees quality control. He's no novice when it comes food competitions: Last year he won the Food Network's Cupcake Wars!

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an FBI agent when I grew up.

When I just can't eat another sweet, I've got to have chips and salsa

The hardest part of Cupcake Wars was The Clock!

The Phoenix culinary scene needs more veggies and less pork.

Something you don't know about me is that I want to move to Sebastopol, CA.

Find Brady and 17 other chefs at Caramelpalooza, Friday, March 2, from 7 til the caramel runs out, Smeeks candy store, northwest corner of Central and Camelback.
