Food Truck Caravan "Roses and Lace" Saturday, September 14

This Saturday, Scottsdale's Food Truck Caravan will serve a special "Ate on 5th" dish with a romantic twist in celebration of blooming of fall flowers such as roses and queen's lace. You'll find the Grilled Cheese Truck, JAK Pizza, Luncha Libre, Jamburritos, Great Balls and Sliders, and Torched Goodness from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Goldwater. The Cove Trattoria Wine Series Sunday, September 15

The Cove Trattoria, a family-owned Italian restaurant in Scottsdale, invites you to join them and Vinifera Imports for a casual wine-tasting event this weekend. From 4 to 6 p.m., a representative of Vinifera Imports will pour samples of red and white Italian wines and provide information about food pairings and more. Tastings of three varietals and light appetizers cost $15 a person. If you decide to stay for dinner following the wine tasting, you'll also get half-off bottles of wine.
