It's going to be a busy foodie weekend! The Scottsdale Culinary Festival is in full swing (you can check out our coverage for all the big events you might have missed here) and since there are so many fun foodie things going down this weekend, I'm taking a break from cocktails and baking this week to make more time for more eating.
Here's where you'll find me stuffing my face this weekend.
The Great Arizona Picnic -- The Valley's biggest outdoor food event is taking place this Saturday and Sunday at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Grab your closest friends and a blanket and get ready for a full day of eating, drinking, and rockin' out with a few great local bands and, more important, a ton of great food from Valley restaurants. The Melting Pot, Tanzy, Spinato's Pizza, Roka Akor, Old Town Whiskey, and plenty more will have samples sized bites of their culinary creations available for purchase. Admission is $10 per person.

Adam Richman and Andrew Zimmern Food Demos -- The two Travel Channel food stars will be taking the stage at the big picnic to share stories of "culinary exploration" and to demo some of their favorite dishes (and maybe let us try a bite or two). Catch the show at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.
The Southwest Festival of Beers -- Get your drink on at the picnic at the SW Festival of beers. More than 30 breweries including SanTan, Odell, Lagunitas, and Dogfish Head will be on hand with plenty of crafty suds to wash down all those food samples. $20 per person Saturday and $15 per person Sunday (this price is in addition to the $10 Picnic admission).
And be sure to check back on Monday for Chow Bella's complete Great Arizona Picnic coverage.
