We've loved Welcome Diner's Southern-style cuisine since the first time we dug into their Peanut Butter Burger. (Seriously, if you haven't tried it, you need to get on that.) So when we heard the restaurant launched a new spring menu it's fair to say we got excited. And if the promise of new menu items isn't enough to get you out the door and over to the Roosevelt Row dining spot, then take a gander at the new lineup yourself.

Some dishes on the spring menu, like the "new" Fried Avocado Po'Boy are really just old dishes with a new name -- it used to be called the "Vegan Po'Boy." But others, like the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich are actually completely new. And fans of In-N-Out's Animal Fries should recognize that Welcome Diner's Cannibal Fries are pretty much exactly the same thing. Except more expensive.

Also, they won't be serving red beans and rice any more, which makes us a little sad.
