Sometimes, you just need a big heap of freshly fried potato chips slathered in hot sauce and bleu cheese. And of course, we had to grab a nice cold beer to cool our mouth down, because really, flaming hot fried food just begs for a good beer. Any idea where we chucked our diet out the window for this hot and spicy indiscretion?

Where Am I Eating?

Email your guess to us at whereamieating@newtimes.com for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Coach & Willie's, where you could join us in blowing your calorie count on some fabulous cheese fries and a couple pints. Trust us, it's worth it.

Last week's coffee spot was a tough one. And admittedly, we did throw you a change-up by stopping at Connections Café in the Tempe Public Library on Rural Road. While we did have some fabulous guesses, we didn't have a winner. And we have to say, this Coach & Willie's gift certificate is giving us the sad puppy dog eyes from our desk, just begging to be spent.

We hate not giving out a prize... so make sure you email us your answer to this week's Where Am I Eating so we can send you this Coach & Willie's gift certificate that's taunting us! Good luck!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
