Having to relive this painful food disaster is difficult. I'm actually sorry that you have to see this. The menu at this Tempe restaurant said "shredded chicken in a crispy tortilla smothered in a zesty cheese sauce served with beans and rice". What was set in front of me (by a very nice server) was a chicken chimi with a thin layer of something white topped with (wait for it) --- AMERICAN CHEESE SLICES! Gross. How dare they even have such a thing in their kitchen and then to lie and say it's cheese sauce. Despicable. Don't even get me started on the dog food like substance that topped the pile of rice. Despite the chips and salsa being better then average, I will be staying far away from this yellow building. Think you know where this mess came from?

Last week,  I cured my midweek taco craving at La Tolteca. I must admit that I'm a little disappointed. Every single time I post a picture of Mexican food I get at least 5 responses of "Tolteca". I finally actually go there and I only get one guess? Dave Marquez was the only one paying attention and he scored himself $30 to Ranch House Grille --- which is closed. Sorry about that Dave! You now have 4 coupons to Sweet Tomatoes on the way.
