Where Am I Eating?

That, my friends, is an actual cube of french fries covered in cheese and chili. No joke. It looked like someone crammed as many french fries as would fit into a basket, fried them, and then dumped them onto a paper plate. I guess it's better then the dog bowl full of nachos I saw while wandering around.

Technically, I didn't touch this monstrosity, but my partner in crime just couldn't live without it. I'm pretty sure there is only one place on earth where this dripping mess would be acceptable, do you know where that might be?

Email the correct answer to whereamieating@newtimes.com  and I will randomly pick a winner from all of the correct guess and send them a prize. This week's winner will receive five tasting tickets for the upcoming Chow Bella Pie Social!

Last week I devoured three tasty tacos and more pecan salsa then anyone in their right mind should at La Condesa in Phoenix.  Andrew Edling managed to get his guess to my in box and  is our winner this week. Congrats Andrew!

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
