Awaiting Endgame: The Marvel Cinematic Universe Through the Years
May 2, 2008, was the day the first Iron Man film was released nationwide. And thus the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a.k.a. the MCU, was born. Almost 11 years later, on Friday, April 26, the powerhouse filmmakers are releasing their 22nd, and maybe most anticipated film, Avengers: Endgame.
Spoiler alert: We don't want to say who's coming out alive in this sequel, but the next Marvel film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, is scheduled for release in July.
Here's a look back at Marvel's universe of films.
