Halloween came early at Tour de Fat on Saturday, October 1, at Tempe Beach Park. The schedule featured a bike ride around Tempe in full costume, a fashion showdown, a slow-ride contest, and a The Bike Is Right game. Several bands, including Nahko and Medicine for the People and Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, also played at the event. Beers were only $5 each, and all beer sales benefited local bicycling charities. All photos by Alexandra Gaspar.
