At the Scottsdale 101 Shopping Center on Saturday, the roar of several engines could be heard through the parking lot as car enthusiasts gathered to listen to the revs of Ferraris and Lambourghinis. Despite the cloudy skies, a large number of spectators from across the state came to see the Desert Region Ferrari Club's annual charity benefit show. From a 1956 Fiat 500 to Ferrari's new 599 GTO, the parking lot was full of about 50 beautiful cars in pristine condition. All proceeds from the event went to Arizona Camp Sunrise, a division of the American Cancer Society that sends child cancer survivors and their siblings to a retreat for kids.
