First Friday in Downtown Phoenix: May 2015

This month's First Friday art walk on Friday, May 1, was quite interesting due to an avant-garde exhibition at Grant Street Studios and the closing reception of For the Sin at Palabra. Most of Roosevelt Row was closed to cars, as a small army of police officers on bicycles sat and waited for May Day protesters to cross their paths. The protesters were brandishing signs like "Killer KKKop Scum Your Time Has Come" but kept things peaceful.
