These Were the Best Moments of the Phoenix Climate Strike

The rally started at 2 p.m. at the Maricopa County Superior Court complex. Organizers later estimated that 600 to 1,000 people showed up. Either way, far more people turned out than at other environment and climate-related events in Phoenix.
Joining similar strikes all over the world, hundreds of people rallied in downtown Phoenix Friday afternoon to demand that state and local leaders take action on climate change.

Their wish list: More solar energy. An end to fossil fuels. Veganism. Less pollution. Policy change. Their message: It's up to us to do something.
