The 125th birthday of the late horror author and cult icon H.P. Lovecraft was celebrated with a fittingly strange evening of spoken word performances, gonzo stunts, and fantastically bizarre entertainment on Thursday, August 20, at the Trunk Space in downtown Phoenix. Featured performers included authors like Richard Bledsoe, poets Lauren Perry and The Klute, and even a bloody recreation of Lovecraft's birth by the Arcana Collective. No, really. As you might guess, some may find a few of these images graphic.
