Ka-Pow! Superhero Adventure Run at Freestone Park, 4/27/13

Faster than a speeding bullet (okay, maybe not that fast but still pretty darn quickly) Valley residents and their children adorned in capes and costumes dashed around Freestone Park in Gilbert on Saturday, April 27, during the second annual Ka-Pow! Superhero Adventure Run. Adults and kids alike dressed as Batman, Iron Man, Superman, Wonder Woman, and other characters from the comic book universes of both DC and Marvel as they ran through a course laden with inflatable obstacles. The hometown heroes of local enthusiast groups Arizona Avengers and Justice League Arizona also made an appearance.
