Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum Opens Fall Season With a Flourish

The Mesa Arts Center campus was filled with works by local artists Friday night, September 13, during the opening celebration for its fall season. Lauren Lee took photos of people with French artist-inspired props. Cazo Dance performed inside a water feature that cuts through the campus. Kyllan Maney worked with community members on giant animals made of plastic shopping bags. And Katharine Leigh Simpson enchanted visitors with an elaborate paper costume channeling a beautiful sandhill crane. Here's a look back at the night.
