Nine Victims in Less Than a Month of Murder

Cleophus Cooksey Jr. of Phoenix is charged with nine murders, police say, all of which happened in November and December and all victims he knew.
Phoenix police say that Cleophus Cooksey Jr. murdered at least nine people between November 27 and December 17 in Phoenix and Glendale  Among the dead were his mother and stepfather. Cooksey had been released from prison in July. A look at the victims follows.
