Openings and Closings at February's Third Friday

As with every Third Friday, openings and closings of the shows are the norm — but for the Allery, the closing is now permanent. The one-day-only show featured 21 artists using Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural drawing drawers as the canvases. Other closings included "AZ/NM Connection 2017" at Grand ArtHaus. Openings included {9} The Gallery with Johnny Kerr, Modified Arts with Patrick Dean Hubbell and Jonathan Howard, ASU's Grant Street Studios with Travis Rice, and Rhetorical Art Galleries with Sydney Lines and Wayne Hulgin. {9} The Gallery's Laura Dragon threw the first after-hours art opening featuring Amanda Adkins at the 24-hour cafe Urban Beans.
