Outstanding in the Field at Agritopia in Gilbert Took Farm-to-Table to the Next Level

Guests started out the evening with beer, wine, and mingling.
On Friday, October 28, Outstanding in the Field once again visited Agritopia in Gilbert. Instead of bringing dinner to the people, Outstanding in the Field brings the people to dinner and shows them exactly where their food is grown.

Larger than most of the traveling dinner series' events, the crowd of about 180 people met the farmers and toured the farm before sitting down to a single table, stretching through Agritopia's orchard. 

Chef Chris Curtiss of Fox Restaurant Concepts created the menu for the dinner, and Joe Johnston said the chef visited the farm early to pick herbs for dishes later in the night.
