Husband-and-wife team Martin and Rebecca Cate are the owners of Smuggler's Cove, a tiki-themed San Francisco bar that, in July, was awarded Best American Cocktail Bar at Tales of The Cocktail, an annual New Orleans-held event recognized as being the Oscars of the cocktail and spirits world. A matter of weeks beforehand in June, the duo released their highly anticipated book published through Ten Speed Press, Smuggler's Cove: Exotic Cocktails, Rum, and The Cult of Tiki. The Cates continue their book tour at Phoenix's new and pre-eminent tiki bar, Under Tow. A festive tiki party ensues.
