Thousands Attend 2020 Women’s March at the Arizona State Capitol
More than 2,000 people gathered at the Arizona State Capitol on Sunday, January 19, for Phoenix's version of the 2020 Women's March. The annual event, which has taken place every January since 2017, was originally set to involve a march through the streets but was transformed by organizers into more of a rally. Many in attendance came bearing signs, and speakers fired up the crowd about such issues as women's rights, climate change, and the upcoming presidential election.
