Phoenix Air Guitar Championships at Crescent Ballroom, 9/2/15

Air guitar seems easy enough, but would you be able to rock out for 60 seconds in front of a crowd of people? Air guitar is a craft that takes skill (and some pretty sweet dance moves) to master. Crescent Ballroom hosted its inaugural Phoenix Air Guitar Championships on Wednesday, September 2, as locals tested their mettle. The top four competitors went face-to-face in a championship round to Motorhead's "Ace of Spades," and KWSS' Brandi Fjeld basked in the glory with a first place trophy. All photos by Melissa Fossum.
