Election Day 2020 in the Valley saw more than 167,000 local voters cast their ballots at voting centers across Maricopa County on Tuesday, November 3. An estimated 1.6 million others voted by mail because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Safety measures were in place, as were campaign workers hoping to influence votes in hotly contested races: Trump-Biden, McSally-Kelly, and on down the ticket. Here’s a look at what was happening at some of the busiest voting centers across the Valley.
