After seeing Lily Reeves' Quasar sculpture go up along Scottsdale Road, we figured it was time to get out and explore new public art offerings in several Valley cities — including Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, and Chandler. We found some fun new offerings, but also some classics. And we found them in all sorts of places — including libraries, parks, quaint neighborhood streets, and busy city byways. Here's a look at some of the diverse offerings in metro Phoenix public art, along with a friendly reminder that now is the time to enjoy them — while you can still stroll and bike your way around in cool temperatures.
