Raving in the Desert with Frankie Bones at Bloodfest 2016

Something wild and wicked took place in the wilderness outside of Phoenix on Saturday, October 22. Hundreds of ravers and EDM fans gathered at a remote location in the desert outskirts of the Valley to party and rage during Bloodfest 2016. The annual rave involves people getting doused with gallons of fake blood and dancing until dawn as DJs spun everything from hardcore to house. This year's event was headlined by the legendary Frankie Bones, the NYC-based DJ credited with importing rave culture to America in the late '80s.
