Friday night held the best weather so far this season as evidenced by the even-larger-than-usual crowds at First Friday. Noise and lights drew hundreds of spectators to the Red Bull Triple Set competition on Roosevelt, where local skate boarders competed for a cash prize. Food trucks and street vendors were out in full effect and were so well attended that many ran out of product before the night's end. It seemed local galleries also brought out the big guns, all of them putting on their most interesting shows in recent months.
