Marilyn Manson performs at Ak-chin Pavilion on Saturday, August 20, 2016, in Phoenix.
Mother Nature did her best to keep metal fans from experiencing two of the the genre's premier acts on Saturday. Ak-chin Pavilion was soaked with so much rain the show was delayed more than an hour, and fans on the lawn were evacuated and advised to seek shelter from the lightning. After the weather calmed down, it was business as usual for "Antichrist Superstar" Marilyn Manson as he and his henchmen delivered a raw 60-minute set. Manson beat the crowd into submission before headliners Slipknot delivered the knock-out punch. Photos by Jim Louvau.
