Catch the fever and join us for SMoCA Nights with some of the best area talent that the Valley has to offer. SMoCA Nights, the Museum's highly anticipated after-hours art event, showcases cutting-edge live music & DJs, performance, art interventions and fashion. Valley Fever will be host to an exclusive preview of performance art vignettes from the upcoming Valley Fever Arts Festival and Phoenix Fringe Festival. In addition, Arizona artist Kjellgren Alkire, who is part of SMoCA�s Seriously Funny exhibition, will debut a special live performance at 9:30 p.m. (Kjellgren�s live antics as Reverend Roughstock & The Jesus Rodeo were honored with a Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix Award in 2007). DJs Jared Alan (fauxshow & adult swim), William Reed (shake!) and Dk.Strickler & World Famous Rani g (one) will ignite the evening with a diverse range of styles while a selection of live local bands (to be announced) packs the night with adrenaline and energy. A newly-designed premiere fashion show will top off the evening at 10:30, coordinated by Duc Liao & Lisa Macchiaroli of Canal online magazine featuring the chic and elegant models of The Agency Arizona.
