Visual Aid: The Many Farms in and Near the Greater Phoenix Area
The farms of central Arizona are an essential part of the metro Phoenix landscape and dining scene. Many of them supply the Valley’s restaurant pantries and farmers’ markets, and hopefully your own fridges. Plus, they’re not bad to look at either.
Here’s a visual guide to the many farms in and near the greater Phoenix area, from peaches at Schnepf Farms to the heritage corn from Ramona Farms and the pecan-groves at The Farm at South Mountain. Because you have to admit, it’s a good-looking group.
