March 15 - 16 at Phoenix Art Museum is a prix-fixe event. The ticket price is your all-day pass to The Chefs Grand Tasting in Dorrance Sculpture Garden, The Wine Table located in the Museum's Great Hall, and all the Festival activities.
No additional fees are charged. General Admission to the Museum,and a discount to the exhibition Masterpiece Replayed: Monet, Matisse & More, is included with the Festival Pass.
The chefs and restaurants presenting at West of Western are invited for their excellence and innovation in the culinary arts; participation is restricted to Arizona independent restaurants and chef-directed resort restaurants.
Each day a different group will present at the Festival. The garden party atmosphere lets guests see the art of the kitchen up close, and chefs take time to answer questions about ingredients and technique. The informal competition has led to greater extravagance in food and display each year, as the restaurants try to outshine each other.
