We were surfing through DJ Tranzit's impressive-looking MySpace page the other day, and besides being amused by the house music maestro's catchphrases ("Some people call it a dance floor. I call it my office"), we peeped a pretty lengthy list of the clubs and gigs where he's plied his turntable trade since 2003. Tranzit's rattled the walls at such Scottsdale standbys as Myst, e4, and Suede, in addition to sessions at The Loft in Tempe, Fate, the Icehouse, and bygone danceterias like Club Freedom and Next. You can add the Pussycat Lounge to the register, as Tranzit's regular Hump Day soiree, Switch Wednesdays, recently relocated to the posh palace. Hyped-up house and phat remixes will floss and fly through the Pussycat on Wednesday, June 16, when Tranzit welcomes Boston's DJ Tony Sap, along with P-town's Moabyte, who promises a set of 3D video art and VJing. Doors open at 9 p.m. with complimentary X-rated vodka cocktails until 11 and free Midori shots for the first 100 clubgoers.
