Summertime ain't a dead time as far as the local rave scene is concerned. The particular all-hours party that we're going to be swooping into will definitely be The Dark Knight, being put on by Silent Unspoken Entertainment on Saturday, July 19, in honor of that certain comic book flick that's hitting theaters this weekend. After we get our fill of Batman kicking the shit out of the Joker all over the silver screen, we'll become creatures of the night ourselves, as we witness Chicago's DJ Delite and a dozen other mixmasters blasting out beats until the break of dawn. The local lineup includes Shine, Spaz, Rize, Grem, Bacteria, K.C. Vaughn, Jeff Trevors, and more. Prizes will also be awarded for the best Dark Knight-themed costume. Admission costs $15 pre-sale, $20 at the door. Call 480-280-2194 or visit www.silentunspokenentertainment.com.
