Attention, (guys in) Tight Pants Brigade! Behold Bullet Train to Vegas — your new leader. The Los Angeles-based band’s We Put Scissors Where Our Mouths Are is a creative and spastic art damage record with intense guitar work dominating 11 tracks. The variation of sharp and clean styles (from hardcore to emo) and near-fluttering quickness puts Bullet Train to Vegas a step above other new damage bands. Sure, Bullet Train can share a stage with screamo acts, but structure and speed make Bullet Train to Vegas at home with the Blood Brothers, as well as the more hardcore Fear Before the March of Flames. This is a debut album destined to make you dance out your anger (no, not like in Footloose).

Bullet Train to Vegas, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and Bear Vs. Shark are scheduled to perform on Tuesday, June 14, at the Clubhouse Music Venue in Tempe.
