First Friday might seem like the busiest time of the month for galleries around town, but think about the previous night, when art spaces are hustling to hang up works before thousands tromp through.

We don’t envy the folks at Legend City Studios who will definitely spend a red-eyed filled night putting up the sprawling “Chaos Theory 11” group show. The exhibit will fill 10,000 square feet with the newest work of more than 50 artists personally invited by Legend City’s Randy Slack. Now in its 11th year, “Chaos Theory” is an unofficial barometer of the art scene and will mix downtown Phoenix art perennials with newer creative types that have been invited into the fold.
