What’s covered in concrete, smells like burning rubber, and has 20,000 arms and legs?
Like a surreal version of The Fast and the Furious, the Midnight Run, Arizona’s original motorsports party, is back for its seventh season of automotive entertainment in the evening hours – racing, burning out, and just plain showing off for more than 5,000 machine-lovin’ maniacs.
The fest features all-night drag racing, an 18-class custom car super show, 300 mph jet-car racing with driver meet-and-greets, and a burnout contest. Supercharged spectators can crave the chrome, respect the rap at the battle of the MCs, or ogle orbs at the event’s wet tee-shirt contest.
