Whether you’re a gonzo gravy dog, a chain gang grunt, or a bone-shaking basket case, the Rusty Spoke, a volunteer organization dedicated to bicycle advocacy in Phoenix, invites velocipedes of all types to shed their skidlids and slide out of their saddles for a one-night party pit-stop.

With a portion of the proceeds going to Phoenix Food Not Bombs, a group of independent collectives serving free vegan and vegetarian food, two-wheel travelers can nosh healthy-like while listening to local bands like Cultura Libertaria, The Nod Squad, and The Karmetics; redeem raffle tickets for free bikes and skateboards; or make a spectacle of their spokes in bike games like the slalom, tandem events, and fastest tube change.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
