Pretty badass, right? The eight-string guitar guru has been doing amazing stuff like that since the early ‘90s. Hunter and his customized Novax eight-string – which allows him to simultaneously play the guitar and bass, thanks to special frets – has been burning down stages and blowing minds for a minute, whether backing D’Angelo and the Soulquarians on the Voodoo tour, laying down tracks in the studio for John Mayer, or leading his own groups.
On Thursday, May 6, Hunter performs in support of his new album, Gentlemen, I Neglected to Inform You You Will Not Be Getting Paid, at the Rhythm Room.
