Distinctive works from local artisans, live music, muy sabroso snacks, and visits from internationally known artists and authors should be enough. But it’s also the closing reception for the annual “Su Casita” exhibit, which celebrates the tradition of Día de los Muertos altars (ofrendas) with installations by community artists. Visitors have the opportunity to leave tributes to their own dear departeds.
