Given the Chinese trade surplus, this certainly doesn’t seem like an unreasonable prediction. The inescapable conclusion is that we’d all probably be well served to brush up on Far East culture.

If you want to please your future Chinese overlords, consider attending Cirque Shanghai Bai Xi. The production has plenty of history – it traces its origin back to the Han Dynasty that rose to power more than 2,200 years ago – so the event is bound to be a cultural experience. More importantly, the performance figures to be thoroughly entertaining, provided that you’re into seeing nine people balance themselves on top of a guy riding a bicycle.
