There’s also pupusas, a traditional Salvadoran dish consisting of thick, hand-sculpted corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, chicharrón (cooked pork ground down to paste), ayote (squash), or other meats or beans of your choice. The fourth annual Pupusa Festival at Iglesia Luterana Nueva Vida, 2940 West Camelback Road, will offer the tasty treats as well as live dance and DJs.
