We’re as giddy as Chirstmas Eve kids in anticipation of the Cave Creek Bicycle Festival going down this weekend. Grown and expanded in its second year, the CCBF unleashes the power of the velo upon the dusty town just 20 minutes north of Phoenix.
Beginning on Friday, November 12, the fest hits high gear on Saturday, November 13, with the return of the Mountain Bike Race and Ride as well as the new Kids Kriterium Ride and the Alley Cat Race. Once night falls, The Buffalo Chip Saloon, 6811 East Cave Creek Road in Cave Creek, hosts a pair of ride-in movies. The Discovery Road Ride on Sunday, November 14, is more laid back and a must for history buffs.
