You’re feeling lost. Your job sucks; you can’t compete for attention from the world with all the supermodels and brainiacs out there; you’re not sure what the hot new coffee shop is and wouldn’t know how to get there if you did.

Poor you.

You’ve got nothing on Sarah Hurwitz. The ceramicist and painter, who’s relocated from Boulder, Colorado, to our vast, colorless desert, is more lost than you’ll ever be — in the hyper-competitive market for visual art; in an all-new-to-her big city; in her own unemployment. Her new work is all about this lost-ness. And we think, after seeing some of the pieces in eye lounge’s new show, “Sarah Hurwitz is Fearless,” that it won’t be long before the artist is selling like mad and feeling right at home.

We hope so, anyway.
