The Phoenix Suns probably aren’t making the playoffs. The Suns’ front office made that clear when they dealt Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu for Marcin Gortat and a box of dinosaur bones with “Vince Carter” scribbled on the side. The trade is great for the future of the team, but it also makes the squad tough to watch.

If you’re not ready to look to the future just yet, there’s always the option of living in the past. Doing so will be especially easy when the Mike D’Antoni-coached New York Knicks come to US Airways Center. Led by Amar’e Stoudemire, they are a Steve Nash away from being a dead-ringer for the 2005 Suns.
