On November 20, the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Phoenix Suns 123-105. Watching that game, it was easy to predict that the Suns would be a different franchise (which they now are) by the time the two teams squared off again. What turned out to be a shocker was the change the Bobcats made in December when Paul Silas replaced future Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown. More surprising is that the Bobcats – a team of also-rans since they came into the league in 2004 – have compiled a winning record under Silas. Needless to say, when Phoenix and Charlotte face off both teams will be different. But, unlike the Suns, the Bobcats have actually gotten better.
